CONTROL PANEL NOT WORKING.win7ultimate. dell inspiron m 4040 laptop.

My control panel is empty. I cannot uninstal anything.
win7 ultimate is my OS. DELL INSPIRON M 4040. Ubuntu.
I did scannow in cmd and some corrupt files are there. It was displayed that details of corrupt stored in CBS.log . Bt I dont know how to access that . Please help me out.

Welcome to Seven forums.

To collect the CBS.log file please follow the steps below as rightly suggested by NoelDP:

Navigate to the following folder:
C:\Windows\Logs
Right-click and on the CBS folder and select Copy.
Minimise all open windows and right-click on your Desktop, then select Paste.
Right-click on the CBS folder on your Desktop and select Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
A file, CBS.zip should appear on your Desktop.
