64GB USB/Pen Drive - RAW File System - Protected - Won't Format HELP?!

I bought a 64GB Iron Man USB from eBay the other day (THIS)

It worked perfectly for a day, I put 3 films on it which didn't even scratch the size.

Now, It won't format

I've tried several ways such as:
Right click > Format - Doesn't work
Disk Management > Right Click > Format greyed out

I've also tried formatting programmes and it says the disk is protected.

Searching around somethings todo with command prompt to remove the protection and still nothing.

Also the list (can't remember name) to set a value from 1 to 0 to remove the protection and that doesn't work.

Please, any idea's will help !

Ok so some how I got it to start formatting, But after 12 HOURS I got a little annoyed at it only being at 17%!
So I disconnected it but back to square one.

Still RAW file, can anybody even explain what the best thing todo is?

Send it back?

The ebay seller from whom you bought has not given any manufacturer warranty. This itself is shady. You have to notify him within seven days and return the goods in its original packing. So do notify him instantly.
Without any further delay, test your pendrive with H2testW.

If it turns out to be a fake drive, do notify the seller immediately with the screenshot of the log as well as raise your claim with ebay buyer protection. Good luck.

I get an error when trying to select that specific volume.

I contacted the buyer yesterday and he accepted return straight away..
Guess this is a usual thing with high memory USB's/Flash Drives =/

The best places to buy flash memory are either a local store or Amazon. Much of what's on eBay is fake- sellers may not even know, they might buy a wholesale lot to resell and it'll be a batch of fakes. Packaging is no indication as fakes can copy the actual packaging. Some companies are trying anti-piracy measures such as decals that are very hard to reproduce without a special printer, etched serial numbers that bootleggers can't manage to do themselves, etc.

I'm not saying it's impossible to buy legit cards and sticks off eBay but you really have to be picky about sellers.
