I just got this laptop off of a Facebook yard-sale page for my area. They were selling it because it would not boot. I bought it home and my current Studio 1747 laptop told me i needed to format the Hard drive from the Acer before i could use it. I formatted the drive.
Now, I can install Windows 7 again, i thought. So i put in the boot disk, got to the "Choose where to install" page. But "No Drivers Were Found"
I clicked browse and all that came up was "Removable Disk (C
", "CD Drive (D
" and "Boot (X
"
(C
told me to insert a drive into Removable Disk (C
.
(X
Said: "No signed drivers found."
So im in a stump.
Acer Aspire 5733 series
I also get the same problem, different hard drive, in a Lenovo G575.
