Hi guys,
so i've just build my first computer (not literary build one but I hand picked the component myself). The component seems intact and during BIOS check everything working just fine. After finishing with Windows 7 installation I start using this computer for work (mainly using excel, chrome, word, pretty basic stuff) however somehow BSOD occurred randomly, I couldn't find the pattern, sometimes it happens after I afk, sometimes it happened when I was browsing, and others when I was working with Excel or opening documents.
Pretty clueless on this one as I am quite a noob

just for additional information , I list my computer specification bellow:

Processor: GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4430 CPU @ 3.00GHz Intel586, level: 6
Motherboard: H87M-D3H, Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB
PSU: Thermaltake smart SE530W
DVD RW: int liteon
Memory: Apacer 4gb DDR3 (2pcs)
OS: Windows 7 Home Basic x64

I also attached the SF as instructed
Hopefully I can get solutions for this problem as I have done lots of research and am still clueless ,
I do hope this is not hardware issues since i've spent quite a fortune into building this computer

Welcome to SF :) .

Both bugchecks are 0xF4, which is usually related to storage.
Considering how young the system is at this point I believe it's a software issue,
I would like to have a look at the virtual memory usage but I am unable to using a minidump.

Please upload the Kernel dump located at the Windows directory.
The Kernel dump file is large (a few hundred Megabytes in size) so you will not be able to attach
it to your next post, please use dropbox / skydrive to link to the file.

Code:
C:\Windows\[B]MEMORY[/B].dmp

Code:

Thanks for the link :).
Hmm, there is a chance of it not being the same bug check code..
The link is still uploading so I can't download it at this time.

In the mean time please post a new instance of the SFDT.

Just now the system freeze, closing all the opening window and when i try to open chrome browser it stated something like "cant't find the program, it might have moved, uninstalled , or deleted" shortly after all the icons on my desktop disappeared and 1 minute after it goes blackout but I can still move mouse pointer, shortly after it perform auto restart.

here is the latest SF

Hi unfortunately what I was looking for in the kernel dump wasn't present :( .

Code:
fffffa8006f4a000: Unable to get pool descriptor, paged pool usage may be wrong
    PagedPool Usage: 0 ( 0 Kb)
Given that you are having continuous issues with the same bug check, including the latest
batch of dump files, I think it's time to test the the HDD just to get a feeling of it's health before
we go any further.

   Warning
The Following Method Should NOT Be Performed On An SSD!

Testing the HDD:

  1. Perform a Disk Check | Disk Check- Scroll down to OPTION TWO of the tutorial and use the /R switch in the CHKDSK command | chkdsk C: /R.
  2. Then Post the Disk Check results following | This Tutorial.
  3. Once back in Windows, download Crystal Disk Info and post a screenshot (multiple shots if you have more than one drive).
  4. Download SeaTools for DOS if you don't want to use a CD to test the HDD you can use YUMI – Multiboot USB Creator to create a bootable USB (instructions are found at the bottom of both pages).
  5. If SeaTools for DOS is unable to recognize your HDD:
  6. Visit HDDdiag and follow the instructions | Or follow the instructions below.
If SeaTools For DOS does not recognize the drive;
Boot into the BIOS using the *Fx key.
Look for an entry called SATA Mode (or something similar), it should be set to IDE / AHCI.
It's probably set to AHCI which is why SeaTools doesn't recognize them in the DOS environment.
Set it to IDE then save and exit usually by pressing the F10 key.
Now boot into SeaTools and it should detect the drives.
Start the Long Test and let it run.
Upon completion don't try to boot into Windows as it will only result in a BSOD, go back into the BIOS
and change the SATA setting back to what it was in the first place.

Re-seat the sata and power.

Let us know the results.

FYI, Yesterday I tried using memtest86+ and run for 7 pass, result in no error found, so i guess... the problem shouldn't be on the RAM right?
just now I perform a disk check and attached the file.
I notice however that there are a lot of WMI and CAPI2 error found in eventviewer (picture attached) do you think this got something to do with my problem?
I have done step 1 up to 3, but now stumbled upon step 4, as I have to first download the .iso file for my windows (64 home premium)
So guess in the meantime, I put all the file here...

Well it depends on how many consecutive passes you allowed the test (memtest) to go through.
Thanks :), the CHKDSK reports corrections were made to the file system which is good.
About those errors, from what I can tell it's an failure of some kind nothing much you can do about
besides updating Windows and see over time if they fixed it.

OK, so these results along with the screenshot of crystal disk info pretty much confirm that
HDD is in a good condition.
I can point you to a great tutorial on how to test your GPU but I don't think that has
anything to do with it. While we are on the subject, what is the make and model and age of your PSU?
Fill out this form and post back the result:

As things stand now I believe the issue is software originated, whether it being a corrupted OS,
an infection, resource hogging (legitimate) software.

I can see you have Norton Internet Security, would you mind removing the software
for troubleshooting purposes?

I would also like you to run some security scans.
Please scan for possible infection and file corruption.

Hi, Thanks for the response :)
I have checked my power usage using extreme calculator, I attached the result bellow.. (The recommendation is around 334W)
I can't find the exact specification of my VGA at the calculator choices, however after some research I found that my VGA is comparable to "AMD Radeon HD 7850 HIS IceQ" so i used HD 7850 as basis (In assumption that their power usage would not be too disperse)

as for my PSU it's a brand new one, the spec is as follow:
Brand : Thermaltake
Model : SPS-530M
Smart SE 530@ W/Active PFC
High Current & Single +12V rail (up to 41A/492W)
530W of continuous output at 35 degree Celsius

I am currently uninstalling Norton and will check for the security scan right-after

Hi there, I have use rootkits and malwarebytes to scan my computer, both result shows no infection. I couldn't perform kaspersky checking process (don't know why). Anyway, so I decided to reformat my windows 7 and installing the driver again one by one (since I suppose if it is software problem then a clean install will fix it).
After finished installing windows I tried installing the crucial driver such as motherboard and GPU, the systems running just fine (I tried testing the system by opening as many files as possible such as words, excel, or pdf). Next I decided to test the computer by browsing the Internets o I start installing the wireless card driver (my systems us TP LINK 150 Mbps as wireless modem attached in the PCI since it is practically impossible to have a LAN cable up to my room) the first 30 minutes everything was working smoothly but then the bsod come back! the exact same bsod 0xf4, I had this bsod happened only once and I immediately disable the driver.. This is why I believed the wireless driver is the cause of the problem (could it really be the cause?) I doubt it at first because it is so strange that the bsod still occurred even when I didn't browse the web... I tried to update the wireless driver for the latest driver update however it said that mine is already last available update... I checked the tp link site and model and it is stated that the product is compatible with windows 7,
So now I am practically confused again
But hey, the bright side is I believe it is almost able to say that the problem is nearlysolved...

Thanks for the update:) .
The Atheros / TP-link drivers are notorious for causing issues when not up to date :zip: .
Do you have a different option of getting an internet connection apart from that?

Yeah it is almost definitely a bug with the driver. If it is impossible to get a lan cable, your only choice is to get a new wireless card.

just some suggestions for those facing the same problem though,
try to disable your driver one by one (search "Device Manager") and try to disable one by one until the problem no longer appear!
