System fonts too small after reverting back to default font size

First time posting, I hope I got this in the right section.

My situation is: For part of my IT coursework I had to explain and show evidence of tweaks that could be done in Windows 7 that could help visually impaired users use the computer better, and one of the ways I explained was about making the system font size larger. I changed the size and took a pic, and reverted back to default font size, but the system fonts seem to have shrunk even further than what I had as default before.

I don't know if I'm going mad or what because I don't remember the fonts being that small and I didn't have the bigger font on long enough for me to get used to it.

Welcome to Seven Forum.
Right click on "Screen resolution" & there you should see "make text or other items larger or smaller" click on that & that will open a window where you can adjust the size. Try different settings to see which one suits you.

I've tried that, no setting is the one I had before. It was on 'Smaller -100% (Default)' before hand and now I'm back on that, the default seems have to have shrunk totally at random.

If you have tried that then the only other thing would be if you have actually changed the monitor resolution, which is also accessible from the Screen resolution window as discussed above.
Your specs don't show your monitor resolution, but I assume it's 1920 x 1080 if it's a 16:9 aspect ratio. You can change it but it is best to run it on the recommended setting.

Other than that, without being facetious, you may have just got used to a larger setting you were using for your demonstration.

I tried this and managed to find something that looks a bit like what I had before, thanks for the help!

@Ranger4, yes my resolution is 1920x1080 at 16:9 and I did change it to 720p to get a picture for evidence, so I thought I could maybe trick it by changing both the resolution and text size in different orders but it didn't work
