BSOD bootup & safe mode win7 0x000000ED error unmountable boot volume

Hope someone can help me out. I have a acer e525 Win7
im getting this error on the bsod - UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
some text then STOP: 0x000000ED (0xFFFFFA800270ECD0, 0xFFFFFFFFC0000185, 0X000000000000000000, 0X0000000000000000)
When i boot up it bsods and in safe mode too (tried all options in advanced settings either bsod's or hangs). \Windows\system32\drivers\CLASSPNP.SYS. is where the boot up fails. I tried to run from windowsrecovery disc but it becomes idle after trying to run recovery. I opened up the laptop and disconnected the bios battery (it was password protected, I don't remember ever password protecting it - possible virus?) then after an hour soldered it back. Put it back together checking all connections and dusting it off. The bios is now accessible. I ran memtest off a flash drive and uncovered no errors. I ran chkdsk from command prompt on the windows recovery disc. I've attached a pic of the results. I tried to get memory dump info for you. I set the debuginfotype to 1 for complete memory dump.

When it is UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME, the computer will not be able to boot in the safe mode, too.

Do you have access to another computer right now? If so, download Partition wizard Bootable CD (the last one in the link). Burn it in a blank CD or in a USB flash stick.

Boot into Partition Wizards GUI following this instructions. When you are on the last screen, take a camera snap of the screen and upload the snap here.

i ran the sea tools scan and found no errors. i tried to rename classpnp.sys but couldnt, then ran sfc scannow in command prompt - image attached. ran the partition boot too - image there also. i selected the disk and rebuild mbr option successfully - image attached.

Still bsod on startup and stalling at classpnp.sys

As another try, mark the C drive as active, and then run Startup Repair for three separate times, with restarts after every single run.

i have ran ubuntu on a flash key. Im getting a warning disk failure imminent. Ive attached a pic. I am happy to wipe all the data thats on the HD. I see an option to replace windows 7 with ubuntu - deleting all windows files. I wonder if this would allow me to then install windows anew.

You told it for the first time ......

If a HDD is failing, everything on it will fail, including the bootloader. In that case no fix will work.

If the HDD is within warranty, then RMA it. Otherwise replace it with a new one.

EDIT: If it is a file system corruption on the disk, wiping up the disk and starting afresh will fix the issue.
