The problems started as soon as I tried to switch my new monitor from a VGA to HDMI cord. It seems to work OK in safe mode, which is good.

Whenever I log back into regular mode, it seems to just BSOD again and be a pain in the neck.

The other BSOD said IRQL_Not_less_or_equal...

Help appreciated fixing this, it's really annoying me.. My computer is only a year old..

We've disabled unneeded services, tried resetting the bios, uninstalling the video card drivers, I'm reinstalling them again now.. Stopped unneeded startup stuff, removed and remounted the RAM just in case it was a fluke...

Hi mystery250.

The Driver verifier enabled BSODs are all pointing to Zemana AntiLogger Driver.
Code:
BugCheck C4, {f6, 294, fffffa800ed6d320, fffff88004dc7ce2}

And the non-DV enabled BSODs are pointing to network blockage caused by Norton.
Code:

Disable Driver verifier: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/101379-driver-verifier-enable-disable.html

Uninstall Zemana. Uninstall Norton and all Symentec products too, using Norton Removal tool. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Let us know the results.

I also did a reinstall through Lenovo One Touch since I last posted and it continued doing it.. Seemed to run okay for twelve hours or so, then boom, another BSOD. Couldn't get it started, but after several times it came back working again.. I'm on it now awaiting another at any time (randomly)

Lenovo thinks it's hardware so I could send it back to them (a few days on my warranty) however I'm not sure what it is.

The whole issue started when I plugged a HDMI cord from my tower to my new monitor.

I'll post a fresh log.

I see it is Norton, still.

If you dont accept the suggestions and do random stuff at your own, you will never get the desired result.

Thanks. Uninstalling Norton now and installing the products you recommended. Why I did that is I consulted Lenovo and it was their suggestion. Only a few days left on warranty, seems to be the way these days with products that don't last.

I've had malwareantibytes for a while, will run again as well as well as Microsoft Security Essentials and post results. I've removed all Norton, including comcast 'constant guard' security.

Does this explain why plugging in a device via HDMI would cause this whole mess?

I see it is Norton, still.

Did a scan with Microsoft Security Essentials, no threats found.

Did a scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. It came up clean.

I'm kind of weary about Microsoft Security Essentials simply due to the negatives reviews it has online, such as the information provided on it's Wikipedia article.

(In AV-TEST's 2011 annual review, Microsoft Security Essentials came last in protection, seventh in repair and fifth in usability. In the 2012 review, it came last in protection and best in usability; however, having lost its certificate, it was not qualified for the usability award. In June 2013, MSE achieved the lowest possible protection score, zero.)
