Solved Would I need to get a specific CMOS battery...

After a long time I was finally able to figure out the problem about My 9 years old Acer Aspire, turns our my CMOS battery is no longer in use. Now got a quick question for you , How much would it cost to purchase a new CMOS battery and does it have to be a specific CMOS battery or could it be any CMOS battery? Yes, CR2032 is what you want. Like Brink says, they are only a few dollars.

5 battery's for one EURO in The Netherlands. Most of the time you need a CR2032 (3V). Just remove the old battery and you see what you need

Hopefully it's the same as you've got in computer now. Why not get a real cheap one? 5 for 1 dollar is normal price

Just make sure you install the new battery in the same fashion the old battery was installed. Once installed the + sign should be showing on all motherboard I have messed with.
**A reminder: Set you time and date correctly in the bios after installing the battery.

Alright I just checked my computer and the CMOS battery I need to get would be Newsun CR2032 CMOS Battery.

Don't you have CR2032 in the house? They are in almost all computers. Even in candles, sometimes in watches.

You can get the CR-2032 in any grocery store, drug store, etc. Most common coin cell.
Duracell's are 2 for $3.00US at the supermarket.
