Can't do stuff on internet and text won't show.

Okay, my brother had this problem for a while. He can't download stuff from the internet, can't load or view youtube videos, can't see anything on Facebook and a pop up login for a new game that came out won't show anything and it just blank and his McAfee won't load either.
We got AVG Tune Up to clean the reg, fix corrupted shortcuts and clean the browser etc...
He uses internet explorer since he can't download Google Chrome or Firefox.
Is there a solution for this?

Hello and welcome Jaia well mate for one thing you used a piece of rubbish to turn your registry over I would be getting rid of it asap nearly all of those so called registry claners and system fixers are pieces of rubbish. The only thing that I know of that is safe is CCleaner to clan the machine and the registry.

You could try a system restore to get the reg back if you are lucky and if so back it up.

Okay, now it says the proxy server is down. I change the settings of unchecking use of proxy server and everything still doesn't work except of getting Google Chrome where Youtube and the FB is now working

Oops yep mate that is what I should have said but in my humble I would dump the thing altogether if it were me.

Jaia give this a run it takes a long time to do but will eliminate this source for the problem.
