Win 7 can't boot but start-up repair can't detect anything

Completely black I go through the whole starting windows animation then plunged into black with just the mouse

Well I was installing an update to a game, but I doubt that was it since no one else who I know had the the same problem, then my computer froze I could ctrl alt del or anything, I could still open windows from my task bar but I couldn't interact with them so I manually shut it down and got this.

You just pressed the power button? Reboot again with f8 "repair your computer". Select "system restore". go back in time prior to having problems.

When I click on system restore it says: 'no restore points have been created on you computer's system drive. To create a restore point open system protector.' When I open the link it says: 'the computer is running in limited diagnostic state. If you use system restore in this limited state you can't undo the restore operation'

Disks are fine. Startup repair thinks it boots fine... actually is booting without problems. Only you cannot logon. No image backups. No restore points.

Do you have a win7 system repair disc or win7 install DVD?

My computer didn't come with any repair disks all pe-installed I guess, also none of the safe modes work

Win7 install ISO here: Windows 7 Direct Download Links (pick the correct language, version [home premium/professional/ultimate], 32bits/64bits [X86/X64])

A win7 install disk has alos the option "repair computer". Actually it runs same code as the win7 repair disc. I told you where to download it. Do it yourself or let someone else do it for you.

BTW: what happens exactly when starting win7 in "safe mode"?

exactly the same but it doesn't display the starting animation and it is in a lower quality

Strange... I expected safe mode to load a lot of drivers. The drivers scroll over the screen. Last one listed is normally CLASSPNP.SYS

IT CAN'T BE EXACTLY THE SAME!
