Solved Local Area Connection not showing in Network Connections

Sorry for poor English....!!!

I have 2 LAN cards installed in my Core2Duo;
1. Intel(R) PRO/100 VE, and
2. RealTek

but only one shows up in "Network Connection" that is "Intel PRO/100 VE" (which is named as "Local Area Connection 2"), which is working fine.

Green LED light shows up when I plugged the Ethernet cable into RealTek NIC, but still the Local Area Connection isn't there only one is present that is Local Area Connection 2... initially it used to show both...

The "Network Adapters" in Device Manager, doesn't show any RealTek Drive or any Exclamation ICON, but do shows "Intel PRO/100" without Exclamation, so it is working fine...

how to enable both LAN cards in Network Connection... Pls. guide for the same...

Do you have the drivers installed for the RealTek LAN card?

how to install a driver then it is not showing in Device Manager... and how to know, which driver will it need... I just know it is RealTek... pls. help me out..

Do you know the model number of the RealTek LAN card?

I'll see if I can help find the latest driver for it.

Often times when a NIC just vanishes from Device Manager it can be found again by shutting down the system completely, turn off power on power supply, unplug the power then push the start button to bleed off left over power from the board. If it's a PCI/e type NIC then remove it from the board and reinstall.

Plugging the system back in and starting up will usually allow Windows to find the missing NIC again.

Sir, Shunt down and unplugged did not work for me... but when I removed the LAN and inserted again, Windows automatically detected it and installed... and now it's working fine... !!
