BSOD when hovering over IE10 on taks bar

When I hover over the minimised IE10 session if give me a BSOD. Nothing else is running/visible on the task bar.
I would value any view or pointers.

Forgive me for not being detailed here as I'm still new to debugging but it looks like your problem is in the Intel graphics driver. I can see that it's trying to access an area of memory that is inaccessible.

I'm going to assume you've made no hardware changes since you're using a laptop.

I would start by making sure the graphics drivers are up to date.

If that doesn't help, run the Driver Verifier (Start -> Run: verifier). You can google around about how to best run this.

Thanks. I updated the Drivers and there was no difference.
I found a place that suggested removing KB2670838 - which I did. It takes me back to IE8 and the problem is not present.

Should I Update again - not in a hurry.

Trusteer Ltd. Rapport Security software.

Try removing it and see if the BSOD's stop.
Are you using any other kind of security software? I didn't see any.

As peebee stated the graphic drivers are outdated, but let's keep it to one change at a time .

Hi. The KB2670838 indicates that the problem is with the Sony Implementation and that Microsoft and Sony are working together to resolve the problem. This is 'deduced' as the Sony section is marked as 'None' and this indicates the approach being taken. The suggested action is to remove the KB2670838 in the mean time.
But what do I know - bemused...

As you mentioned igdpmd64.sys is very outdated but Sony's and Dell's laptop like using their own
OEM drivers which tend to be old.

I took a look at the loaded / unloaded modules and saw that rapportiaso64.sys has been
loaded and unloaded several times which indicates activity along with the fact that security
programs like to meddle with things sometimes too much I figured it's worth a go.
