Windows 7 Boot Updater displays old Windows animation

Hi, all first post here. I've been using Windows 7 Boot Updater for a while but I've run into a weird problem. I applied a new animation while my computer was connected to a 4:3 computer monitor and it worked great as usual. But when I connected the computer to my widescreen TV instead of displaying my custom animation it displays an old windows animation. See picture.

This happened to me once before and I thought it was that particular computer but now it happened again with another computer. What I don't understand is why this is only happening to me sometimes with certain computers while other times it works fine. I always use the same custom animation.

So to recap, sometimes it will display the custom animation fine whether the computer is hooked up to a monitor or a TV and other times it displays the Windows animation below when hooked up to a widescreen TV. This is not the same computer but different ones. What I'm I missing?!

Welcome to Seven Forums . that code should not have caused the problem in your last picture? Have you corrected that issue?

BTW, the Windows 7 boot screen requires at least 1024x768 screen resolution. If your tv's native resolution is lower than this, Windows 7 will show that Windows Vista style boot screen.

I fixed it by running startup repair.

The TV's resolution is 1280x720. My Mac Mini running windows displays my custom animation correctly. I've also built other computers in the past that display it correctly but I just built two new ones that both display the Windows Vista style screen. I've done nothing differently so its hard to understand what's causing the problem.

I actually just noticed that when using my other computer the resolution on the TV changes to 1920x1080 during the animation (which display my custom animation correctly) and then switches back to 1280x720 automatically after. How can I make my other computer behave like this?
