Solved Clear Admin Log

Ahhh, silly me! Thanks Usernameissues, I think you can read my mind... I did read "in one word" not "it is one word."

And thank you sgmdew for posting the clarification - I just botched the reply - fixed now.

I thought the path issue had been resurrected. For some reason, I thought the L L issue/discussion was put to bed and the phrasing threw me off.

Still, running Malwarebytes isn't a bad idea.

Using malwarebytes for many years now, probably better than using AV; but still use eset, ccleaner, and malwarebytes.

A realtime Antivirus AND on-demand scanners are the best line of defense.

Did you run Malwarebytes or are you satisfied with the solution provided for the issue you originally posted. If you're happy, then I'm happy.

Ok, thanks.

It's probably best to open a new thread for the IE 11 issue in Browsers & Mail - Windows 7 Help Forums (if you haven't already)

The reinstall option is always available as a last resort - it all depends on how well the troubleshooting goes and what issues remain.

It seems as though IE 11 is quirky for some people. I have bounced IE up and down and up a few times. Updating to IE 10 originally had some issue, so I went back to IE 9, tried 10 again and then 11, backed down to 9. I ran with IE 9 for quite a while before upping to IE 10 (again) and that's the version I run currently. I'm tempted to update to IE 11, but....
Other people have no issues with IE 11 on their machines. Go figure!

Cool, reset to defaults has helped others with IE 11. Good thinking.

If issues do crop up, a new thread is still advised. IE 11 doesn't really fall into the clear admin category :p

It's been a pleasure helping you solve the original issue.
