its windows 7 ultimate 64bit and its build 7600

There were two 7600s...7600.16384, 7600.16385. The latter is the retail

Yes that is the final edition. You should be able to use a retail key from the store (It will have to be an Ultimate key since you have Windows 7 Ultimate).

If you are going to get an upgrade edition of Windows 7 than it is still unknown the specifics of how the upgrade process will go
