Check your screensaver settings. Make sure it is set to none and that on resume display login screen is unchecked.

30 threats found by MBAM seems a lot. Do another scan in safe mode, that may find something else.

Try to get a look at what command is in the prompt(if it's not run minimized.) That may give a clue. If you can only read a bit of it try to get the name of the exe or batch at the left of the line. Also I would run MBAM on all exe files for the programs open when it happens. See if one is the culprit.

(If you have Explorer integration enabled you can right click on a file and select "scan with malwarebytes..."

i can not see it as it pops up for a split second by the time i look at it has dissaperd and i can not run mbam on exe when it happens because it happens so fast it takes longer for it to shut down the current programs than the cmd window takes to execute what ever command it is using

I understand what you mean about the command window passing quickly. If you cannot run a scan on the exe programs that are usually running when this happens because things change so fast perhaps you could use one of those Rescue CDs that has MBAM on it. Boot the CD or USB stick and then run a scan on all the files in Program Files folders. Or even the entire drive.

If nothing is infected then it may be worth trying
sfc SCANNOW from and elevated command prompt.

If the machine won't stay up long enough you may have to boot the OS CD to run
sfc /SCANNOW
from the command prompt in repair mode.

My feeling is that the command prompt is running
shutdown /l

which is logoff immediately.

Now the trick is finding out what is launching it.

There is a message sent out when the system wants to log off. If any program replies "no" the system will not log off. I'm looking for a program that haandles the message and replies no, to avoid writing it myself. But if it stops logoff then you should be able to find out what is going on. I'll check back after more search.

There must be one already out there.

30 threats found by malware bytes is a lot. I suggest we look into malware removal first:

Please read this entirely before we begin malware removal:

Before we start with malware assistance, I want to inform you of a few things:

1.) I am not a recognized malware removal expert. I do not have a certification from a malware removal school. Having said that, I have removed a lot of malware with PCs and have years of experience.
But just like no antivirus program is 100% effective, neither am I. My goal is to simply clean up your PC from any malware, and assist you in any way possible to help you secure your PC.

2.) Sevenforums (This forum)and I will NOT be held responsible for anything that might go wrong with your pc.

3.) You agree to follow all directions given, until I advise that your pc is clean and you are free of threats. You will not abandon the thread.

The most important rule of all:

4.) YOU WILL NOT INSTALL/change/modify OR ADD ANYTHING TO YOUR SYSTEM UNTIL MALWARE REMOVAL IS COMPLETE. No files or programs or anything of the sort.

Do you agree to these terms?

If yes, reply with a Yes. If not, please state so and I will flag an official malware remover, or I will recommend another place for malware removal assistance.

Unless they are just tracking cookies. I've taken to running SuperAntiSpyware first because a quick scan finds the tracking cookies in about a minute. Then it's possible to stop and delete them without waiting for the scan to complete. Running MBAM right after when scanning for more serious stuff.
