Is there a way to remove a picture from my hard drive to be used in a picture project that I am working on. If it can, how is it done. If it can be done, after using the picture can it be returned to my hard drive.

I appreciate the help. Thank you.

Why not copy the picture to removable media and leave the original intact?

To copy the original; right click the file and select copy. Then open the removable media and paste the file.

Thank you for your quick reply. :o I right clicked the file and selected the copy. I don't understand what the removable media is (is this the picture?) and where do I paste the file, picture to.

Thanks again.

Paste to like... another folder? Or anywhere you want. And removable media is like an USB flash drive or an external HDD or DVD or CD or camera or SD card or basically anything that you can plug into your PC.
