This has been happening ever since I bought my PC 2 years ago. I've taken it to a lot of technicians several times who ran hardware tests and found nothing, thus weren't able to diagnose the problem. It keeps happening even after I've formatted it multiple times. It crashes mostly while gaming, but sometimes when I'm simply browsing the web too. either it freezes with colored bars on the screen or a blue screen happens (mostly the latter). also it's mostly 0x0000001e or 0x0000003b

im not sure what this bump contains though, but this is what mostly happened before the format.

Temperatures are normal, video card drivers are up to date, passed all memory tests. Hardware seems to be fine. PLEASE HELP ME!

Its your graphics drivers causing a problem here.

Have your tried uninstalling the catalist control center?

I have multiple times. Along with formatting my PC I think that's what I've done the most in the past 2 years lol.

Hmmm, il ask one of the other team members to come and take a look.

Have you tried to roll back the drivers to a more stable version?

You mention you have been doing this for 2 years im wondering if this could be hardware related.

It most likely is hardware related. But I can't afford to replace something and then find out it was something else that was malfunctioning. I've done the memtest86 with my RAM so that shouldn't be the problem. I'm assuming it could be the graphics card, given the colored bars freeze that happens sometimes?

Yeah thats not a good sign.

Try to re-seat the card.

Also, check that your graphics card is clean and free of dust, pet hair, etc to rule out overheating. After you have completed both of those steps, check back here with the results. If it is still freezing up and the driver is crashing, we will look into it further.

Are you OC'ing ?

Not OC'ing. And I don't think it's overheating either, otherwise it wouldn't happen outside gaming. It's not too dusty, and I'm sure the technicians I've took it so far have checked it out and cleaned it.

Hello Bernas mate two things tyr these may seem simple for the slot cleaning but tey.

SLOTCLEANING

Now as for the slots to clean them usea strip of old credit card about 1/2 inch wide nip the corners off one end - preferably round them off hold apiece of thin lint free cloth over the end dab on some form of alcohol - isopropyl alcohol (what we swab the skin with before an injection) is good and GENTLY swipe along the slots.

This can also be done for the GPUslot/s and do not forget to clean the contacts on the cards / sticks either.

It is an idea to clean the contacts onthe sticks / cards while you are at it but be VERY gentle when doing this.

Using HW Info PSU

Download HW Info and pick the right bit version -
HWiNFO, HWiNFO32/64 -Download -(copy and paste thissite into the search bar) If you do not need the running information in thesmaller right hand panel close it. In the left hand window click on the + forthe individual device groupings and they will open out to the variouscomponents.

Go on opening out further until you get to the device itself. click on it andit will highlight. In the right hand window there will be a very detaileddescription of that device as in brand, speeds model number etc etc These arevery detailed and are just what is needed for searching for drivers etc.

To get the PSU volts you need to select the Sensor buttoncircled in yellow in the pic for PSU testing do the same and scroll down thereadout as in my pic to where it has Nuvoton = yours might be a differentsection name / title. Post back a pic of that please.

If you want a more definitive test see this
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/301799-psu-test-dc-output-voltage.html but lease only use a digital multimeter and not ananalogue as they inject typically 9v into a circuit to test and into a 3.3v or5v rail - not a good idea!! see the partial pic of the correct sort of meter inthat tutorial. details if you scroll down that listing.

An addon > Power Supply 101: A Reference Of Specifications - Power Supplies section 2 is relevant.
