Hello

I have been having some BSODs lately mostly related to TDR. I decided to do a sfc /scannow and I have found this corrupt file iassdo.dll.mui. sfc /scannow is unable to repair it. The startup repair does not find it either so I'm really lost as to what to do.

I will include the CBS file aswell as the text file I extracted from it using the command:
findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails2.txt

Thanks for any help!!

Put a fresh iassdo.dll.mui in folders
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\en-US
C:\Windows\System32\en-US

You can get them from another win7 x64 machine. After that run sfc/scannow again. if error again... run it twice.

So I got my new DLLs fresh from an install disc I got from this forum. I noticed that the DLL located in System32 and syswow64 was different in size so I copied the fresh ones from their respective folder on the disc. I then booted up the PC back from safe mode and ran the scan and I got the same errors, rebooted scanned again and still got the errors.

The install disc I used had a copy of Windows 7 x64 Ultimate SP1

I will include all both of the text files and CBS files from the scans.

I tried to upload the files all individually but then I got a 404 error :S The .rar worked.

What is TDR?

A TDR is a BSOD with the code 116. It refers to issues with the Time Detection and Recovery. Very common but hard to diagnose.
