I should have all the parts by Friday afternoon.

I'm working Saturday but off on Sunday and Tuesday. I'm gonna say it'll be sometime next week before I have it all together. That sucks, but such is life.

Friday afternoon, nice one. Anyone that knows me will know if I had them parts coming Friday afternoon then by 7PM I would be up and running and benching the shit out of it pmsl.

Well crud, haven't got all my stuff yet. The UPS truck didn't return to the depot before it was closed to the public. I'll have to get it Monday.

All I have so far is the CPU and cooler. I'll post a picture after work today.

I think Time to build a monster may be better. Everyone wants to see a monster. That's why I stopped by, late as usual, but I can't resist a 'Monster Build'. I hope to build my Monster before too long. The rig I have runs great and has not a problem in the world, I just want something bigger and better. I'll never build anything faster though. I couldn't miss a Monster Build.

I should be able to get the rest of the parts Monday evening, barring any unfortunate occurrences.

Delivery was attempted on Friday, but I wasn't home to sign for the packages (working). The truck didn't get back to the depot before said depot was closed to the public.

NewEgg policy is that any order over a certain dollar amount MUST be signed for, otherwise I would have instructed them to leave the packages at the door.

I'm thinking I should have bought a cheap air cooler for bench testing. My EVGA Superclock cooler doesn't do Socket 2011.

That's one reason I use a private mail box service. The service receives and holds my packages (and other mail) in a secure place until it's convenient for me to pick them up (the mail I can pickup 24/7). That way, I don't have to be worried about mail or packages "growing legs and walking" or getting damaged by weather.

For the title of this thread, how about "Time to Build a Monster X99 Machine"? I've been lusting after the Asus X99 Deluxe and X99-E WS but my machine isn't old enough yet to justify the expense (in other words, I'm cheap) plus I don't want to be an early adopter (I'm a coward). Still, I'm going to be watching this build closely (inquiring minds want to know).
