Solved Samsung Series 9 keyboard SHIFT key

OK, I am definitely throwing this laptop out the window if this isn't fixed soon

a few days ago, I discovered I couldn't type a capital a, v or x using either of the SHIFT keys. Works fine if I use the CAPS LOCK. This is obviously Very XXXX Annoying. This problem occurs whether using the Samsung keyboard or my wireless Microsoft Arc. Other keys seem to be fine, and no other problems whatsoever.

any ideas? I am not very computer savvy so be gentle with me.

After many hours, finally sort of found the problem. Uninstalled Skype - now works perfectly. Of course, can't talk to anyone at the moment, but then I'm not in the mood....
