Solved Registry Key - what is it?

Does anyone know what this is?

I can't find much info on it. Does anyone else have it?

That is a odd one to me. I dont think ive ever seen or come across a registry key named enviroment. If it cant find the file specified; the key must be empty. Short of that im not totally sure as like i said ive never come across that one.

EDIT: just fyi for ya; I like your link to hard disk tools. Looks like a lot of helpful tools there so i bookmarked it in my browser. I like it.

Thanks for your reply. I think I'll make a system image backup before deleting it then see what happens!

Best info that I can find is:

Embedded nulls are also sometimes used by vendors and developers,
as yet another antipiracy measure.
The point is, any developer whose apps write to the Windows registry
knows -- or should know -- that embedded nulls render a string
unreadable as a whole by the default Windows viewers.

Does that mean that all embedded nulls signal malware? Of course not.
What it does mean is that something is being hidden from ready view.

So it's probably best to leave it alone.

I managed to get a look at it. It's a license - possibly created by Macrium Reflect but that's just guesswork.

I looked at one system and it didn't have the Environment key - that OS does not have Macrium.
Just looked at another system with Macrium, and the key is there.
I think you nailed it

I've fount this key in my system too, and would like to know what's in it.
