Wasting time on Looks instead of functionality
I wouldn't care if it was in a brown paper bag as long as it functioned properly![]()
I agree that appearance is not that important. If the program is stable and the settings include scheduled updates and scans one would very rarely see the UI except during on demand scans and if it finds an issue.
Unfortunately I have seen way to much of the UI and it hasn't been because it found an infection but it certainly has had issues.
