Gee sounds good to me! The .5 ohms that is! Been shopping around to help some people find the Eleaf iStick 20w mod But that only goes down to the max low of 1 ohm with that paricular mod. You can get 1.6 or 1.8 ohm replacement coils for that tank. They even have a stainless replacement tank for that with a glass window.

Just remember in three weeks Black Friday will be here on the 28th of the month when you can grab just about anything for a bargain price as many will be wanting to clear the old stuff out to make room for the new stuff coming in! While the 100w, 150w, 180w, and even a 250w killer mods are just coming in the 30s and 50s will be seeing some price breaks once the holiday shopping starts following Black Friday!

This would do the job for the 0.5ohm coil. It's not too expensive but I really don't need to be buying any more vaping stuff right now lol.

The question would be since you just bought the 20w Vamo why would you buy a 100w rather then simply buying some replacement coils? If you are buying the tank for sub ohming then you would be looking at the various high wattage APVs available.

Several mods will go down even as far as .3ohms where you can pick and choose which suits your needs. While Sigelei gets a good rep I found them to be priced higher then other similar mods.

It's your call there as to what you are looking for. The specs show you won't have any problem with the Nautilus the way it is since that will take coils as low as the 0.15 ohm seen in the specs. If you are strapped at the moment cash wise since once you get started there's always one more thing that will get you fired up! wait until the BF and holiday discounts are rolling and then browse what you can get for what price(s).

In now just a little over two years time after the first starter kits(holiday gifts included) I estimate I have cleared the $4,000US mark by close to $200 or so total. It can add up fast at times!

Last november during the first week when getting the MVP in for example I realized I had to get into some better tanks as well as moving up from variable voltage to VV/VW more progressively and found myself already outgrown three mod stands! Does that say anything? hhmmm... but weighed against the former $300-$400 on cartons to smoke is a much healthier investment with the $$$$ I won't be handing out to "Big T"(obacco)!

This year being well situated and the first variable wattage manual not automatic epipe will be out at the end of next week which should just about complete the collection here besides wanting a few more of the less costly batteries and likely a few other tanks. The first epipe I ended up and gave away last year was an automatic with plastic inserts and the next newer model I missed by one letter 601C instead of the DSE601 I got! :( Fortunately I could pass that along to someone else now vaping rather then sticking with a recent smoking habit.

Basically with both the Nautilus mini and full size Nautilus I get liquid slowly heading up the tank and it will reach the mouth piece in the end but I always roll some paper towel and poke it down from time to time to stop it. I can't imagine I have been unlucky with both tanks so it must be a design flaw. I am kind of hoping the new Atlantis doesn't have this issue. I am not really fussed about the 0.5ohm coil but the tank looks nice and apart from the issue I just mentioned I do really like the Aspire tanks. The flavor from the BVC coils is very good (when I actually put in a decent juice!). Would they really make a new tank that only has 0.5ohm coils? That cuts out a massive part of the market! I would like to think they will release a range of coils for it at least going upto 1ohm? Who knows. I don't really want to buy a new mod but I would like to get a tank without issues. Maybe you could recommend one? It needs to be easily available in the UK and the replacement coils too. The bigger the capacity the better too. I don't want to be messing around with anything smaller than 2ml.
I was put off Kangertech straight away, I bought a Kangertech pro mini 3 with my MVP2 and to be honest it felt very dry and flavorless from day 1. I think the bigger versions use the same coils so I am very put off by it. There don't seem to be a massive amount of other options really. And I am not ready to start building my own yet, I don't have the time.

So yeah, tank recommendations please.

Oh and BTW this is my current vape. It got very good reviews so I went for it. Mum's Custard by Digsby's in the UK. It's a very smooth vape, not harsh at all. A nice flavor and big clouds from it. It's a 50/50 mix and I went for 18mg. It's not cheap but it's certainly a nice change from all the crap I have been vaping since I ran out of Deadly Sin. My sizzlebox was dispatched today too so I will have 6 new gourmet flavors to try next week. Really looking forward to that!

I'm going try it tonight or tomorrow. I did try it at the store and liked it. It's half price weekend. They do that every other weekend.

I wish we had decent juices for them kind of prices here! $6 for 30ml is so dam cheap. I paid £16 including delivery for 30ml of that Mum's custard. That's nearly $26!!!

I think the bigger versions use the same coils so I am very put off by it. There don't seem to be a massive amount of other options really. And I am not ready to start building my own yet, I don't have the time.

So yeah, tank recommendations please.

I've been sticking mainly with Bottom Coiled Clearomizer types for the last year and a vendor just tossed in a vertical coiled clearomizer when ordering a pair of starter kits and an eGo CE5 1100mah battery with a clearomizer in a bubble pack with usb adapter only. The vape from the vertical coil is far superior to the long wicked top coiled since the DCT type design allows for intake holes along the length and not really seeing any wicking issues. That was a freebie there however.

Now for the main tanks I run regularly on the eGo type variable batteries and even the MVP and VTR as well as the v3.0s I run with the Smok Tumblers and 2ohm coils either Smok or Kanger Protank II which will also work on those. The newer Smok T-Dux 4.0 is a 4ml tank over the 2.5ml but still takes over 3ml Tumblers while they won't surpass the Tumblers as far as the flavor intensity. The T-Dux 2.0 is a small 2ml size and there's a couple of other small T--Dux models.

The SMOK HBC tank is a 5ml and comes usually with a 1.8 ohm coil which is where you want to be. The vapor output is more over the Tumblers while that sags behind the 510 threaded T-Dux 4.0s as far as how the barrel shaped tanks overall seem to lose out. The Tumbler has more of an egg shape that maintains an even vape. When replacing the 1.8 ohm coil from the T-Dux 4.0 however I ran into the same problem I saw with the Smok HBC and Solid piece plastic GBC 4ml tanks as far as not so great. Each tank runs best once you know which resistance is prime for that type of tank.

Now for a UK vendor carrying the Tumblers in the variety of colors one vendor stocks them with the HR 2.4ohm coils that are best when turning up the volts but not the ideal like the 2ohms seem to be.
Smoktech Tumbler BCC Tank Clearomizer And here's another vendor with only the clear tanks with the 1.8ohm LR coils instead of the standard 2.4 or 2.0s which seem to be growing in popularity with more vendors seeing 2 not 2.4 I have been noticing lately. Smok Tumbler Tank BCC

Now some vendors will have the Tumblers shown as 3.5ml tanks while Smoktech and others have it as a 2.5ml simply on how you fill it. For a the short tip on most bottles of eliquid you have to tip the tank once turned upside down to a 60 degree angle while more will go in when using a needle bottle with it at 90 degrees instead but watching not top it off right at the tip of the air tube or get some up in your mouth right off!

And that's one problem seen with far more tanks and clearomizers not from design but either overfilling or a flood in the coil, DCT cartimizer, or atomizer. That's when you hold the button for a few before taking each hit until the saturation drops off. It can taste nasty at times depending on what flavor you have in the tank! Fortunately when finishing off what was in one bottle with the help of a needle bottle I was right even with the center air tube but not one drop came last night on a Tumbler I packed good! It took several draws to get it going however once there was space for air intake.

If your going to get into sub ohm vaping, I would think you'd be better off with a good quality dripper than a tank.

Most who sub ohm are into the rebuildable coils where you have to buy the wire separately as well as keep track of the winds and measure the resistance before the initial use on each rebuild. It's primarily basic hand tool assembly over buying ready to use replacement coils you simply fasten into the base of a tank.

They have some RDTAs now that offer a good capacity having something like a dual tank system which amounts to a 3ml well with a 5ml tank on top which would suit the need for a larger capacity as far as drippers are concerned. Here's a look at the Big Dripper RDTA at UK vendor. This is something you would be looking for if planning to sub ohm.

Alibaba.com a wholesale site and Fasttech seem to be the two main sites where all the new stuff appears first before wide spread distribution. These are located in Hong Kong if you don't mind a 12-14day shipping time. The first 5 days are mostly order processing at those sites which are not just for vaping by the way but are much more like what is Amazon is a wide variety of consumer electronics.

Now the prices for things when viewed here are in US currency. That may change if the site is set up to auto detect your location. Here's the search results for the one at the UK vendor. Matches for: big dripper

Thats what my Kayfun is 9And Russian 91% too). Rebuldable Tank Atomizers with 4.5ml capacity.
Been using 28g Kathal, 7 or 8 wrap on 3/32 drill bit and Japanese organic cotton for wick.
What I've found to be best for my taste

But, I'm just not sure I'd want to run sub Ohm with the tank. the reason is all that heat may gunk up the coil or wear the wick before the tank is empty. I could be wrong, never tried it. Just a thought

That why I was thinking drippers would be better. A bit easier to rebuild more often without tearing down, emptying out a tank and rinsing all the parts etc
Quicker to build a dripper that is.

I just had an interesing result when a Smok coil came apart when I went to remove it from a Smok GBC 4ml tank The GBC Clearomizers that come with the same 1.8ohm coils used on other several other Smok brand tanks.

The wick which is right in between a quarter to 5/16s of an inch in length was a little stuck to my finger as I had to use a rubber jar cover opener to get the bottom half of that out and took out a cotton ball from a bag bought at a Walmart of all places to make a new one. I tore a small piece off and gave that a slight twist and pushed it down in the two slots on the bottom half and pushed the top part down in. When filling the clearomizer to about a quarter it read 1.7ohms.

Usually the vendor info will say about two weeks is advised when constantly using one tank as far as replacing the coil while the thing I found here with that brand's coils when swapping out if stuff them in bag until ready to place them in a denture holder and toss an Efferdent tablet in with some hot tap water to let soak for so many hours. That removes the old taste when going to use them again.

When not pulling the coil you can open the tank up and flush it out with hot water at a sink and then hold the button about 10 seconds for a half dozen times in a row to heat the coil up to vaporize any water remaining when refilling the tank
Otherwise when not using the tank right away as I have several apart now I simply leave the tanks apart to allow air drying. You get about two or three life times out of each coil that way.

Rewicking them as long as nothing breaks which is easy to do can extend that even further. From what I know about sub ohming the flavor you have in is vaped off cleanly not leaving any gummed up traces. At least that's the case with the stuff I order. I still haven't gotten into any DIYing at this time however to know how would work out. But if the ejuice is clear when first put in and the tank sits on a battery for a long period like a few weeks it will darken up where you can notice a difference in loss of flavor while the coils can still be flushed out with tap water.

As a friendly warning to everyone here:
If anyone wants to get into DIY and start mixing your own E-juices, there are some flavors that sound like they may be good, but may not turn out as intended.

A picture is worth a thousand words, so here ya go, DIY gone wrong:

So I tried a tank of the new 11mg last night and was good. Hitting it this morning with my coffee I felt I need more. I mixed about half a tank of an 18mg with it. Does that make it 14mg?

I'm not sure on the math part, but it is doing the trick now.

Watching the above video, wow. I like bacon but wow.

EDIT:

I found a calculator for DIY on the ecig forum. I have a lot more homework to do before I try DIY.

There a decent calculator on Google Play and Apple store too.

If you want to get into it and have any questions I'll be glad to help if I can. been doing it a little while now.
But the e-cig forums that's been linked here is a good place for DIY tips too.

I think its best to start with single flavors, and master that before trying anything too complex.

Good advice, but I seem to like to mix my flavors for variety. I go with a straight tank of one, then mix a couple, Maybe I should just try a bunch more.

I am not ready to make my own juice, so was just curious about mixing a few. I have one juice of 18mg and another of 11mg. If I mix them 50/50 in a tank, does it make it 14.5?

Noob question, what is the shelf life of the ejuice?

I thought about joining the ecig forum, but feel more comfortable asking here. So another question... I noticed I am vaping a whole lot more. That is one reason I am trying to cut the nicotine level down. I'm not feeling ill or anything that shows I'm getting to much nicotine, but am curious.

I started and used about 1.5ml a day. Now I am vaping about 3ml a day.

Eventually I intend on doing a little DIYing myself mostly to try various flavors with menthol added in. For basic mixing one option you can try is getting a preblended PG/VG base already made up without any flavoring at all. One of the Top 5 US vendors is offering this at Flavorless - VistaVapors, Inc.

You can also order a bottle of PG or VG separately in case with some PG bothers someone such as developing an allergy or you want 100% VG or if you want 100% PG by preference at the vendor there. This place also carries a Bacon flavor as well as numerous others to look over. They may or may not ship to the UK however. This was found under shipping and returns.

"Shipping

We ship anywhere in the US and offer limited International shipping.

NOTE: There are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. If you question your country, please contact us."

When looking up the info at my main vendor who is now shipping international as well as in the US their page is seen at Crystal Canyon Vapes: Shipping

The more informed vaping sites will generally have a data base of things much like a tutorial section, a blog, and other references. A word to the wise however when first deciding to DIY is take it slow! Haste makes Waste! as they say! :)
