Ah, but the site also said:

From what it sounds like, if you bought the upgrade, you may select Custom Install during the installation process. Would you like to explain this?

Not necessarily.. you will need to have a qualified, activated version in order for the OS to install though ... There are pages and pages of discussions regarding this issue ... you may want to read over them via google.. good luck..
