SikMindZ, just for a try. Even DDU usually does not uninstall the actual drivers. They are in a folder wherever CCC and AMD installs your drivers. Find the drivers and manually delete them. Then uninstall from add/remove programs. That is what I do with the Nvidia drivers. Physically remove them from the computer. Try to make it as much like a clean install of the OS as you can. Then install the new drivers, but select a custom install and only install what you actually use. You do not need any of the audio junk both AMD and Nvidia install. You do not actually normally need CCC. All that you really need is the graphics drivers. You may need more than normal with your set up. If you actually need it, install it. But don't install anything you do not use. Just a suggestion that may or may not help. If the program you use to set your voltage is an actual installed program, uninstall it. When you are completed installing everything else, install a fresh copy of it. Are you running a modded bios on your cards? If you are and none of the above works, reflash the bios.

Good suggestions by Noober, just as long as you do step #1 first and even a system image just in case everything goes to crap. But Noober's suggestions are good. Desperate times need desperate measures.

I actually do that for every driver update lol

My final run. Stock VS. Overclocked (1445MHz on the core, 7822MHz on the memory) This is about as high as i am willing to go in terms of voltage on air still running stock LN2 Bios. It gets way too hot! lol

Thanks guys!

anyone know if reb00tas was on water?

Im VERY happy with this card overall! it is a beast of a card and all my issues are now gone. well worth it. my only gripe about it is the stock cooler. it does get toasty even under stock settings compared to my asus card. owell. in the future i may decide to do either a kraken or swiftech AIO with full water block.

Great run n00ber. Keep it up and you'll be taking the #2 spot soon.

I've already done everything ya'll have suggested. Many times. Very frustrating. I'm thinking my new card might be voltage locked in bios. If one card is locked, does it lock the other ones if they are in crossfire? I mean, i'm happy with my performance, but as a benchmarker/overclocker, I want/love to push my hardware to the limits. You get such a sense of accomplishment. Anyways, what bios do ya'll suggest for 7950? I'm probably just going to reflash all of them. Have to be careful with the reference though, it doesn't have dual bios like my two sapphire do.

So for anyone that doesn't know, I picked up this bargain GTX 980 on Cyber Monday. It was by far the cheapest 980 I have seen in the UK so I had to grab it.

Here is a quick run with a bit of an OC at stock voltage. No time for any other benchmarks for now, too dam busy with other stuff!

Thanks Ganj, had time for another quick run while Rosie was having lunch. Not too bad of an overclocker so far considering it's on stock voltage.

Anyway, when I finally pay the last of my debt off, my GPU will be water cooled. Got the parts picked out. Just have to order.
