I have several tutorials saved in my favorites that go through configuring the boot loader.
The main thing I'm wondering about is the fact that I had to change the "Configure SATA as" option to IDE in BIOS to load/install XP. I have to then change it back to AHCI to load/install 7.
On system startup it gives me the option to load the Earlier Verison of Windows or Windows 7.
If I load XP with it set to AHCI it will give me the blue screen and restart.
If I load 7 with it set to IDE it will give me the blue screen and restart.
I installed XP Pro x86 first.
I haven't changed any settings with EasyBCD 1.7.2 (I'm using this link mainly How to dual boot Windows XP and Windows 7 (XP installed first) )
Do I have to change anything or do anything different because I had to change the Configure Sata As option? Or can I go ahead and configure the bootloader like in the tutorials and everything will work and boot fine without having to go into BIOS and changing that option?
Thanks in advance
