Solved Setup was unable to create a new system partition...

So I bought a new SSD drive and tried installing windows 7 ultimate x64 on it. Before that I had a samsung baracuda HDD drive and reinstalled windows 7 on it a couple of times. Now when i try to install windows 7 on any of the drives i get the same error all over again. Tried creating a partition manually, tried changing from IDE to other options on the sata settings. any ideas? Also I cant find the legacy boot option in my UEFI settings.

I would first try to install to UEFI by disabling Secure Boot, enable CSM or Legacy BIOS, then boot the installer as a UEFI Device. If using a flash stick it must be formatted with option One of UEFI Bootable USB Flash Drive - Create in Windows

If you cannot find the correct settings then please post back camera pictures of the related BIOS settings for UEFI, CSM, Legacy BIOS, and BIOS Boot Priority Order showing all choices expanded: Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums - Windows 7 Forums

You're not seeing the problem here, in my UEFI i cannot find anything related to bios or legacy boot, nothing like that. I've tried everything, on my previous installation it worked fine. Could it be because i installed some chipset drivers for my motherboard?

No, I'm not seeing the problem because I specifically asked to see pictures of BIOS settings related in any way to UEFI, CSM, Compatibility, Legacy BIOS and the BIOS Boot Priority order. If you do not have any of those settings, then post back camera shots of the Security, Advanced and Boot tabs of BIOS setup.

How exactly did you install these mobo drivers? You should delete all partitions on the drive during install so how would these drivers survive?

You couldn't possibly have worked through the steps to Troubleshoot Windows 7 Installation Failures yet so please comply and report back the exact step where it fails and error message.

We deal with these cases here every day and have seen them all. Every single one is solved where there is close cooperation.

Not sure how to enter the BIOS because this UEFI system is really new to me.
I am currently not able to give you any photos of my system settings, but when i go into the UEFI setup utility there's the following:
Advanced:
Cpu configuration, north bridge conf, south bridge conf, storage conf, super IO conf, ACPI conf, USB conf, Network conf,

Then there's UEFI update utility that has only ''instant flash'' in it.

On the Boot tab there's:
Boot priorities, (boot option 1,2 etc. where i have to select the usb to boot first, because im installing from an usb)
then there's fast boot. boot from onboard lan, setup prompt timeout, bootup num-lock, full screen logo, boot failure guard. NOTHING else.

The security tab only has Secure Boot option.

I've went through all the steps, tried disconnecting everything else from the PC leaving only the brand new SSD, tried making manual partitions, nothing works, it is the only storage source plugged in apart from the usb. I used wintoflash to make the usb bootable.

Win2Flash doesn't even begin to get there. Use only Option One from UEFI Bootable USB Flash Drive - Create in Windows.

Once the USB stick is correctly formatted then select it as a UEFI device in the BIOS Boot Priority menu.

The BIOS settings list is not sufficient. We can usually spot the correct settings in a picture, so please try to provide what was requested.

Secure Boot must be disabled.

But did you do a UEFI install?

Is SanDisk your SSD? Be aware that on UEFI install it will list Windows Boot Manager first upon install and it must stay there. Boot any disks from the BIOS Boot Menu key, as UEFI devices.

I cannot see if the Boot order has UEFI stick listed first.

Go in each of those Advanced tab Config options to see if anything for UEFI, CSM or Legacy BIOS is listed.

Is Secure Boot disabled?

What tab is after Security - I cannot see it.

Are there any adjustables on Main tab?

Sometimes the only determinant for UEFI install is to choose the installer as a UEFI device. Everything follows from that.

Now transfering windows to the flash drive with Rufus program yes the stick was first in the boot order when i booted up the setup and got the error. There is nothing about UEFI in the advanced section, searched all the folders. Secure boot is disabled, and always was that way. After security tab there's exit and nothing else. There's nothing adjustable in the Main tab...

If the stick lists as a UEFI device in Boot Priority order then it should work.

Check also to see if Windows Boot Manager is available as a choice yet. It may not show up until installed.

If it's there then maximize chances by setting it as first boot device as it must remain after install, then trigger UEFI stick from the one-time BIOS Boot menu key at boot.

I don't quite understand what Windows Boot Manager is. Rufus is almost done with the flash drive, will post the results in a few minutes.

Edit: Looks like it's installing now, there was a message that i accidentally skipped in the disk selection, something about that the disk isn't bootable and should configure something in the bios. But it's installing.

Did you boot installer as a UEFI device? If so after install it should have Windows Boot Manager listed as first boot device for a UEFI install. This is normal and should be left alone. Boot any disks as UEFI devices from the one-time BIOS Boot menu.

If it's not a UEFI device, proven by having no UEFI System partition in Disk Mgmt, then it's OK but you won't have some BIOS features like mouse support. Hardly worth doing it over.

Other tips here to get and keep a perfect Clean Reinstall Windows 7 have been used by over a million consumers without a single complaint and never returning with any issues as long as they stick with the steps, tools and methods.

Alright the installation is going fine. After using my samsung baracuda from the 90s, this new SSD installed windows so fast that im out of words to describe it. Yes the usb was UEFI and was booted first.
