Solved BSOD while Patching ArcheAge, caused by driver ntoskrl.exe

Removed the programs from Startup, and about to restart.

As for where the usb driver came from, Boyfriend says the driver disk that came with the motherboard; he built the pc.

After I restart, i will run sfc/scannow in command prompt and let you know what happened.

I don't know about Nvidia Streaming, but I did a search and removed my Xplit GameCaster if that's what you meant.

Message from sfc scan: Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

It seems strange a driver disk would have a more recent version of the driver than the support page. I'm tempted to ask you to remove the XHCI via Device Manager and see what driver Windows offers on a reboot.

I have a slightly more recent version on my Sabertooth board.
It may be worth checking the Intel site for a more recent version. Either way it's causing you problems.

Device Manager says I have an Intel 7 Series, so the most recent driver version is 1.0.10.255 to my 1.0.8.251, so I will install that.

Well I'm able to get into the game, figuring out the random ctd (crashes to desktop) which the forums claim to be game related.

I will try installing Sims 4 (since that was also causing a bsod as well) After I finish playing around with ArcheAge

OK, most of those dumps are 0x1A 0x41287 which means the internal memory management structures are corrupted. This is going to require a kernel memory dump. The other bugchecks are 0x50 which are pointing to hardware, but from the little I can glean out of those all I can see is the PTE being referenced is invalid.

I'm going to to ask some of the BSOD team to take a look in here, but I'll need you to set your system to record kernel dumps.

  1. Open Advanced System Settings
  2. Click on Settings in Startup and Recovery
  3. Select the Small memory dump dropdown box and select Kernel memory dump
   Note
Kernel memory dumps are usually very large files and cannot be uploaded to the forum. You'll need to upload kernel memory dumps to a file hosting site such as OneDrive.

Hello, HikariChino. Boozad asked that I look into this problem. He and I often do this with each other. I would like to ask a question or two and make a couple of suggestions if you don't mind. If I ask something that has already been answered, please excuse me. Why do/did you have MSI Live Update? According to your System Specs you have an Asus Motherboard.

Also, would you check and make sure you have the latest Firmware for your Intel SSD.

Please make sure you have a GPU Temp monitoring program and watch your GPU temps very closely. This test will make your GPU temps increase rapidly and very high. If the temps go too high, stop the test. I would like you to run the Furmark Video Stress test. (http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100356-video-card-stress-test-furmark.html) Please run it until your temps level out. Also watch for any Artifacts during the test. Once the test keeps running and you see your temps stable, you can stop the test. This normally happens within a few minutes.

On your Mechanical Hard drives, Please run Seatools for DOS. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/313457-seatools-dos-windows-how-use.html#Part3. Please run the long and the short test.

Please also run Check Disk on your Mechanical hard drives. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutsearch.php?q=check disk

If you have any questions or do not understand anything, please feel free to ask. Neither I nor Boozad mind at all answering any questions.

The three times I ran Furmark, I get the following error (image sent). I did chkdisk on C:, dunno what I'm supposed to report on that.

I'm about to run the SeaTools tests since I'm about to go to bed.

As for the MSI files or whatever, I don't know where they came from. Boyfriend built the computer, so methinks it came from the new card he bought 4/1
