I have an issue (like many others on here) where Windows 7 SP1 won't install and gives the error 800B0100. I've run the usual troubleshooter and System update readiness tool with no joy. The CheckSUR log file shows 10 errors and I've uploaded a copy of the log with this post.
Hoping someone can help me avoid having to do a Windows repair install

Thanks for the response but I've discovered a way to resolve the problem using a tool called KB_Extract.exe. This allows you to extract the package files from the relevant Windows update identified by the KB number in the CheckSUR log file. You then simply copy these package files to the c:\windows\temp\checksur\servicing\packages folder and re-run the System Update Readiness Tool and the corrupt/missing files will then be replaced. After that Windows 7 SP1 installs fine as do all subsequent updates.
