The problem is caused by your graphics driver. Run Display Driver Uninstaller(DDU)
Make sure you tick the Uninstall C:/AMD and C:/NIVIDA folders while you are in DDU when you are done running DDU install your graphics driver again and you should be good to go! This is the guide for DDU: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/367109-display-driver-uninstaller-how-use.html

Install the latest updates from Windows Update.

o_O someone actually replied!!
I've went ahead found out the cause of the problem and reached an uncertain conclusion.

It became obvious pretty quick that it's the graphics card driver.
The latest catalyst atm is 15.7.1, but I had to donwgrade to 13.1.

---

I'll mark this thread as solved. Steps I took:

1) Safe Mode
2) DDU (I didn't see the option to remove C:/AMD, but I manually did it anyway)
3) Restart into normal mode
3) Download and install v13.1
4) Restart and still get statics, but not BSOD
5) lol

---

My conclusion/guess:
When I rolled back to 13.1, I can play games just fine, nothing unusual.
But when I'm idling in desktop or browsing on the internet, I still get statics (but not BSOD).
So my conclusion is that during the times I played some games with 15.7.1, the VRAM got damaged.
I guess the more recent drivers can't allow any bit of corrupted VRAM but older ones can.

---

Thanks for the reply anyway Laith :o

Edit: btw, I downloaded v13.1 instead of letting Windows Update choose a driver for me.

No problem. But i think you should get your GPU replaced if the VRAM is damaged.

I realized I need to ask you- can damaged VRAM damage other parts like the CPU, RAM, and motherboard?

Yea possibly, if the damage has been going on for too long.

Sorry about resurrecting this already solved thread, but can you (or anyone reading this) please tell me if I'll be ok with not changing out my card? The statics are minor and don't happen all that often. Thanks.

Well it is ok but the damage can spread to other parts of the system and can cause corruption etc.
