Go to Internet Options and on the last tab click the Reset IE button.

Do a full scan with MBAM.

Just do a search for MBAM.

Ok, I'm back. Windows 10 just has way too much junk to be worth it to me. All though the "add to favorites" and the "logout" issues were fixed, it was just wasn't worth it. I am back to Windows 7 SP1 x64 using IE11 with the about issues back.

Soooo, if anyone has more info to help it would greatly be appreciated.

And since it was quite a battle to get IE 11 installed back to my computer the suggestion of using "reset" in internet options is a little scary so I need a few more instruction on how to put things back after the reset, that would be helpful.

I like Kaspersky, but MBAM is the gold standard. Don't run them residually together, though, is my opinion -ie, decline MBAM's free trial Pro offer.

If you're afraid of making changes, create a restore point first.

Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data

If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

Please also post the C:\Windows\windowsudpate.log file

It is fixed!!!!

Found the problem of not being able to click on Favorites then click on Add To Favorites and get the drop down window to pick the folder where I want to put a website. It also fixed the problem of not being able to sign out of websites. Here it is:

If your using Windows 7 DO NOT INSTALL Kaspersky 2016! It has a problem with IE 11. I think it was for Windows 10 users only.

What I did was go to www.kaspersky.com and download the install for Kaspersky Internet Security (or which ever one you bought) 2015 ver. 15.0.0.463 FIRST UNCHECK THE UPDATE TO LASTEST VERSION BOX!!

Then I uninstalled Kaspersky Internet Security 16.1.x.xxx keeping my license info only.

Then I went to the download file and started the install, DO NOT ENABLE the Kaspersky "URL Advisory Plugin" that may be a problem too. Installation then was easy and all problems solved!! WHEW!
