Advice required please. Looking to purchase a 4k monitor which will work at 60Hz for general computing - not into games but apparently these things default to 30Hz and the gain over a conventional 1080 monitor then becomes minimal apparently.
I know my existing graphics card won't power the thing but getting advice from vendors is well - do they know what they are talking about as it's all a bit puffy advice.
Maybe my Win7 x64 will require a jump to Win10. So really I'm confused over this. Maybe the idea just isn't worth it.
Any input would be appreciated.
