Solved BSOD when using Chrome the past 2 days, also Chrome Tab crashing

Everything seems okay to me. Can you please install all recommended updates from Windows Update?

This is what Windows Update says (I don't want to upgrade to Windows 10 though):

Also, in Windows Update settings, Recommended updated and Important updates are set to install automatically daily, so according to this, my computer is fully up to date.

I would like to chime in that you're not the only one experiencing this issue. Almost the same thing is happening to me recently since it all began on or around last Friday 2/5. From my knowledge I didn't install any new hardware or device driver unless something slipped through the cracks like an auto update. The bsods only occurs on Chrome and it happens at random times. Simply opening a new tab can cause it to bsod. I've started using Edge and FireFox without any issues. The error message I see on the bsod screen is "ndis_net_buffer_list_info_illegally_transferred".

I've tried the solutions mentioned before to no avail. I'm at lost ends here with this issue on Chrome.

Couldn't delete it manually, so I used %windir%\system32\cleanmgr.exe to remove it and some other stuff. In total 7.80GB was removed. This deleted the file.

I then restarted my computer, and this came up during the boot (picture below).

Is there anything else I should do now, except wait to see if I get another BSOD?

Be careful with Windows Update for the Windows 10 update.

Microsoft has pushed the update to Windows 10 a little further as a recommended update, so you need to double check the optional updates before installing.
