I know I was there as well but then I made one weird joke and everybody looked at me like vermin.
You can't "look at someone like a vermin" on an online forum.

Even if in the above quote mentioned "posted message" of yours at the Ten Forums included a photo of you, it would be impossible for you to tell how other members "looked at you", in this case the photo of you.
