Problem booting windows 7 after cloning to ssd

So i had everything for a new computer set up on a regular hard drive and pulled my boot ssd out of my older computer.

then did a quick format on it and cloned the hd to the sdd.

When i boot up i get this error:

Windows Boot Manager Windows failed to start.
A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.
To fix the problem:
1.insert windos cd and run a repair your computer option.
File: /EFI/MICROSOFT/BOOT/BCD Status: 0xc000000F An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data.

I tried booting into the windows pe environment macrium provided and doing boot repairs but no luck.

Once i hit enter and pass the error screen it comes up again, then after the second one it starts booting into windows.

I assume this has something to do with me not properly formatting and erasing the mbr from the ssd since it was running on an old bios system instead of the newer uefi but this is my first time using them so i'm not sure.

I also see a 100mb allocated partition for the c drive.

How can i repair it?

You probably need to do a diskpart clean on the SSD to remove the old bios system completely, and then clone the HD to the SSD.

I have had to do

Disk - Clean and Clean All with Diskpart Command

a few times when their is a bios or operating system change.

I also had to do the Dispart command when Linux was on a drive previously.
Some how a format leaves little things behind that get in the way.

I don't know what/if any utilities are available now to do what you want.
I would do a diskpart clean and then transfer the OS from the HD to the SSD.

eh.... i've done a lot of changes since i cloned.

If you can't boot with the cloned SSD, where did you make these changes ?
On the "Old HD", a non-OS partition on the "New SSD", ... ?

I can boot with the cloned ssd, maybe my post wasn't clear.

The error pops up, tells me to hit enter or esc, i hit enter, then it pops up again. Once i hit enter the second time it goes on to boot into windows sucessfully.

I would create backup images/copies of everything i didn't want to lose on an external drive before making changes.

I already tried using both the macrium disk for boot repairs and the windows 7 repair disk.

the windows one said it found problems and fixed them but nothing changed.

Once you boot into Windows 7 could you complete this tutorial by Golden so we can have a look. Make sure you have your clone drive hooked up.

The C and G partitions are active, there should only be one active partition.
Try disconnecting the G drive and see if a startup repair works.

Ii I read your first post correctly read on - I've done this a great many times now and mainly for trying out a dual boot or an upgrade etc etc

What you were advised in the first place ie clean the older drive to be cloned (from the new drive) with DISKPART using just clean or clean all depends on how OCD you are. Then just clone the new drive straight to that cleaned drive.

For an example if it was just Windows 7 OS on the drive to be cloned to ie the older drive then I would just clean - anything I have used for a dual boot or a recent couples of time upgrading to 10 I clean all because then I know the drive is squeaky clean. That is because there has been a lot of members coming back with issues on getting back to 7 (for example) and I have my pet theory (probably wrong) that remnants of what was on the older drive are left over to produce problems on the drive/OS.

You then just create a primary partition using Partition Wizard or however you are used to doing that PW is very quick so I use that and then just clone away using Macrium. The small partition is as far I know normal and at 100MB a drop in the bucket anyway.
