Hi. Before you read, you need to know my PC is very weak..

I want to download Aero theme, but without Transparency. When I click on an Aero theme, just the simple Basic theme sets.. I want to fix it. I have the up-to-date driver softwares installed. When I click on Colors at Personalize, just the old window comes up.. I want to download a green Aero theme. No Aero-Peek or anything needed, I just want to color my taskbar and the window, and the Maximalize and these buttons I want like the Aero have. How can I earn it??

Thank you :)

Aero is a transparent theme. You either get the transparency and aero peak, etc or you get the boring basic theme. If you don't have the power for Aero then the only option you have is basic. Have you googled Windows 7 themes to see what is out there?

I googled, but I only found Aeri themes, or "How To enable tutorial" videos, (which is unhelpful). I searched for colired Basic themes too, but there was nothing useful. But You know, you can disable the transparency on the colors menu in the personalization. But I think about that theme, which I can download, I can set, the transparency and these more aero stuff not avaiable.

Simple answer.
You need more ram. 1.0 GB of ram is just not enough to use everything Windows 7 has to offer.

Lots of my friends have or had 1GB of ram, and the Aero worked.. And I can't upgrade the ram, my pc engine house (my English bad, so idk if it is the true word) doesn't look like the others..

I guess maybe either you run a stripped down version of Windows 7 or one of these light/mini versions?
To run Windows 7 properly you need at least 4GB or RAM but nowadays you should have 8GB to be safe, depending on what you do with the computer.

I struggled a lot to find all compatible parts since I wanted an Intel 1151 based motherboard so to be able to install Windows 7.
I chose this case because it has amazing air flow, it's sturdy and looks good.

The design suggestion for Windows 7 varied between 1GB and 2GB of ram 2GB with a suitable Discrete, (separate card with own memory), will give transparency in Aero but this also depends of the actual card / or graphics chip fitted, I have seen 32Bit Windows 7 running on windows XP hardware with 512MB of ram, ( No Aero), I myself ran a test system with a shared memory onboard graphics chip for the whole of the pre Beta and Beta period 64 Bit with 2GB Ram - Not fast but usable and aero worked.

Basically Aero support was something that had as much to the graphics sub system as it did with system RAM, there were systems that could take four or even eight GB of ram (64Bit Pro required for access), but would never run aero due to the card shipped as standard or the onboard Chip installed

The design suggestion for Windows 7 varied between 1GB and 2GB of ram

That was the minimum "suggested" of RAM and without specifying what use has the computer so I guess M$crosoft means a bare utilization of the computer with light Internet Explorer use (we all know that Firefox and Chrome use much more RAM), old version of Office, low resolution video streaming, much smaller monitors, much slower CPUs and GPUs and so on....
By the way, we are talking about the 2009!

Some were running Windows 7 long before 2009, I was late to the party, didn't install the Pre Beta version until sometime in 2007 ;)

As for usage I'm talking about the fact's of running the OS for what we used them for at the time, We did have a number of users who decided to see what was the oldest least powerful system they could run the "New" OS on, I can recall them running of old single core pentium with XP era memory and hardware - The posts are probably somewhere on the forums, makes interesting reading to compare claims with actual facts for real world use, as always Microsoft's minimums were made with a good bit of leeway :)

Can't find a direct MS post on the specs needed but this gives an Idea, as always the more the better applies but the actual requirements were high for XP hardware, but well within the Vista hardware specs ( not those machines sold as vista systems with xp Specs)

Same thing happens with games, the developers claim the minimum specification requirements which won't EVER be enough even by playing at the lowest settings.

And I still remember when laptops with only 1-2GB of RAM started selling by featuring the AMAZING Vista!
I had good fun by periodically visiting the retail shops and seeing these brand new machines being "refurbished" by the retailer (they added more RAM when it was possible) and being sold with ~$200 discount but they were still garbage machines.
Good job M$crosoft!

I never found Vista to be that Bad, It was running on the correct hardware with certified Vista Drivers of course, but was much better out of the box than the awful release version of XP, which was due in part the decision to try to "replace" Windows 2000 and and also the 9x series of consumer OS with the one set of code - this resulted in a crippled version of Win2000 and half finished drivers for consumer hardware - XP was ok after SP2 apart from the awful Luna interface (looked like a kiddie toy computer).
As I had each batch of systems on delivery I either had them loaded with Win2000 or those that came with XP had the "Classic" interface switched on and Luna removed completely from the machine ( business customers demanded it )

Will Windows 7 run on 1 GB of ram? Sure it will.
Will 1GB of ram allow Areo? On some computer hardware.

If one is happy the way a computer runs with 1 GB of ram. I happy for them.
If Areo isn't working with 1 GB of ram I still suggest adding ram.

One gig, 4 gig 8 gig or more depends on some things.

1. What will the hardware allow.
2. How much money one is willing to spend.
3. How well does one want the computer run doing the things one wants it to do.

I also run XP on 512 mb of ram. I was very new to computers and didn't know more ram improved my system. When after a while I understood that more ram would help.
I went all the way to 2 gb of ram and then 4 gb of ram. I now had a race car for a computer.

Ram does matter to a point.
I have run Windows 7 from 4 gb to 32 gb of ram. 32 gb of ram was a waste of money for what I use my system for.
Both my system have 16 gb of ram. I could easily get by with less ram. My systems would work quite well with 8 gb and to some degree with 4 gb of ram.
It all depends on the 3 conditions I posted above.

Just my opinion and experiences.

Jack

If you said that 7-8 years ago, then I would agree even so it also depends on what are you using the computer for. For instance it'll run for sure and then what tasks you run?
Nowadays just the browser alone can suck up to 400-500MB of RAM depending on how many tabs you open. Then what else let me see, you run office programs, you listen to music, you watch live video streaming etc. etc..
As I said above M$crosoft minimum recommendations is 1GB of RAM without telling what programs are running, also we are talking about "recommendations" made around 10 years ago!

I struggled a lot to find all compatible parts since I wanted an Intel 1151 based motherboard so to be able to install Windows 7.
I chose this case because it has amazing air flow, it's sturdy and looks good.

You need to change the theme because this is the way Windows 7 works now, it's no more like it was up to Windows XP unless you install specific software that can do the task.
Right click on the desktop with the mouse and choose "personalize", you'll see a display of different themes, I tried the the "Windows 7 basic" I think it's the one you're looking for.

How this can be in my life..
Please read my thread.

Dude you need to cool down.
What you're asking isn't easy to do so the most common answers to your problem are: 1)do a system restore, 2)do system drivers check (sfc command), 3)reinstall Windows, 4)take your computer to a technician, 4) have a cuppa and relax!
A I said since Windows 7 Microsoft has made it harder to change and modify themes (which includes changing icons and colors) so the option is to install a specific software (I forgot the name) which will allow you to do it (but you still need to do your homework).
By the way, you talk about reading your thread which isn't clear to understand then you don't answer one my simply questions I asked you so you're the one who needs to read the thread carefully.

Okay then, I'll describe it in more detail.

So I want Aero theme, not like the real.. I want the theme, but without these features:
-Transparency
-Aero Peek
-Aero Flip

So in explained: I want Aero Glass, but without transparency, because my pc, because he will lagg until his dead.

-Color The Aero Glass: I want to color the Title bar, for example to green. As like on the stronger computers, you choose an Aero theme, change the color in the Color and Appearance setting, then in same place, disable the Transparency. (I can't do it, because the Aero isn't supported on my graphics card, and if I click on Color and Appearance, it just popup a window, and I can only configure the Windows Classic theme.)

-Color the Taskbar: I want to color the Taskbar for example for green as well... Still I don't want transparency.

-Change the Window caption buttons (minimize, maximize, close window button): I want to change these buttons to like in the Aero Theme. I don't want to change the styles, color, or anything, I just want the original.

-Color the Start menu and the only stuff where I want transparency: I want to color the Start Menu to green, and surprisingly, I want transparency for it too. I don't want other features, just this, nothing special.

This is my thread describe in explained. I hope you and other people can understand correctly and clearly.
+I calmed down, I just drinked a cup of milk. :)
