cant activate win7 for win10 upgrade

hi i cant activate win7 anymore. i get the error 0xC0000022. all slui.exe wont work. i cant get my install id

Then apply the win7 image onto that new partition ( you can get an installation iso file easily).

Boot into that new installation and run
7oeminstaller.

Then you will have an activated win 7 on that new partition

its saying that there ist allready an programm running when i start sfc /scannow after a while

you also have another problem. didnt pick it up first time round since there are other details missing
the product key you are using is from a OEM COA sticker
this type of key requires a SLIC table which you dont have on your Retail AMI motherboard

it was activ over 9 year... but i cant activate it anymore, the option is gone

If you have recently used System repair or Clean installed
then its likely the IRST driver problem was caused by this.
any exploit would also be removed, thats the only way an OEM COA key can be used on a Retail motherboard.

if the report had been complete i could have picked it up earlier
it also states that the comps not registered, another sign of a recent install

whats the differrence between COA SLP and OEM COA? is there any?

OEM SLP - tied to a computer Built by Dell/Hp/Toshiba etc and NOT transferable
OEM COA - the product key sticker attached to comps manufactured by the above

note part of the agreement between MS/OEM's the COA sticker key is a back-up and not the key installed at their (OEM's) factory

other types

Retail - totally transferable
OEM System builder used by specialist makers for sale to End Users

That should work. If not, there is some corruption with your current installation , as torchwood has said.


You can save a lot of time by clean installing onto another partition and activate that new clean install. If there is no bios slic then 7oeminstaller is no use. You should use your ultimate key from the box to activate.

If you do appreciate the quality of Win 7, then buy used RETAIL boxed version from eBay.
