Acer Aspire 5738z crystal eye webcam not responding

Hi
I can open the webcam, take pictures and also start to record a video, but when I stop the video it says its not responding, so I have to close it with task manager. After when I reopen it the video is there, but every time I try to video it does the same. The sound is there but distorted?

I ran a compatibility test and the result is 'Incompatible Application' ???
I tried to update the drivers and it said it was up to date.

Any help with this?

but it does not go anywhere, only to suggest get remote assistance or other help from MS and they go nowhere.
