Hard Drive Copy?

Hey I have 2 different hard drives on my pc and one of them has the Windows 7 Beta, and the other has Windows 7 Ultimate full retail version and I was wondering if there is anyway I can get all my files and games and stuff from my Windows 7 Beta onto my Windows 7 Ultimate without having to reinstall or redownload everything?

You can copy a partition and all it's files, but there are no registry entries for these copied partitions, so the programs will not run.

You'll need to re-install all your 3rd party applications.

You may want to consider Windows Easy Transfer. To make it a bit less tedious. That being said, you should also keep a copy of everything on another external device. There have been few (really not many) problems. As with anything problems can develope.

Start computer from CD/DVD (win7 dvd)ninside
choose Repair
restart windows 7 ultimate from the new hard disk.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that result in the entire beta version of Windows being transferred, rather than simply installing the programs on the new version?
