Pls Help me with my Windows7 start up delay..

This is the best place to start, with a problem like the one that you are experiencing. It may also be hardware related.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

I did this ISOLATION method,
1st, I unchecked 1st half of the "services" then restart... Problem still occur ( Freezes at "Windows Starting" page, after the windows7 animation logo then it takes 13minutes to proceed to the "log on" page),

then, 2nd, I checked the 1st Half and unchecked the 2nd half of "service" tab.. and still, same result... nothing change on the boot time.. Problem still occur ( Freezes at "Windows Starting" page, after the windows7 animation logo then it takes 13minutes to proceed to the "log on" page)...

i also thought this method can resolve this... :( but it didnt.. btw.. Thnx for the effort guys.. I hope this can be resolved..

Did you Install anything else after Win7? or is it a clean install +updates? Check what you installed then see if thats the problem.

its a clean windows 7 +updates...

Were you looking at the services tab in msconfig? That can be helpful at times, but if you shut off the wrong services, you can cause more issues.

I would:

go back to the services tab and choose enable all.

go to the startup tab and select disable all.

restart.

does it boot quickly??

If it does, you know that it is something on that startup tab that slowed you down.

Then do the same type of "isolation method" that you did on the services tab to narrow down what the problem might be.

If disabling everything in the startup tab does not help, post back.

OK.. ill try this too. Thnx again guys ;)

I dont think its on the update.. because on first boot after installing this.. i noticed this delay on the "Windows Starting" page.. even in my first install using a 32bit win7.. I think maybe in my Intel G31 motherboard.. because I have recently use my DVD INSTALLER of win7 to my Firends Computer and it RUN so SMOOTH.. he uses ASUS motherboard... I thought it can be resolve so i stick to this OS..
Im searching on Intel Motherboards forum if there is anyone who has the same problem as mine and if there's a way to resolve this..

Leave your BIOS at default.

Keep all unneeded devices disconnected--printers, USB devices, etc.

Do you have anything left in the motherboard slots? You shouldn't need anything if you are using onboard video and onboard LAN.

Are you using just 1 good stick of RAM?

Do you have access to another keyboard and mouse?

Here is one suggestion I found:

go to MSCONFIG and choose BOOT and ADVANCED.
Mark the processor field and choose the maximimun numbers of processors.

I think you would choose 4 since you have a quad. I don't have anything checked on my PC, but it can'lt hurt to try this.

As far as we know, he is now on onboard video.

I'd guess he should stay with an absolute minimum hardware setup for troubleshooting purposes until this sobers up. Swap in the bare necessities if available--KB, mouse, PSU, single RAM stick.

Since you have a video card installed, then I'd suggest going into the bios and disabling onboard video, as well as the onboard audio for now.
