Icons MESSED UP!

Hi all.....

I installed IconPackager and changed a theme but not it is all MESSED up
The .dll icons and from "vista run as admin"
image below to explain....i opened IconPackager and restored to the default but some of the icons and messed up..
I uninstall IconP and it was still the same -.-

Hello Lemon,

You can use the DLL download in the tutorial below to restore all of it's default associations and icon. If you have any other file extensions that have messed up icons, you can use the download for them as well.

If the program altered the system files themselves to change the icons, then this may not work. In this case, running a sfc /scannow may then allow the downloads to work.

You can download a program from NirSoft - freeware utilities: password recovery, system utilities, desktop utilities that will help you fix all your file types and point them back to the correct icons. Download “FileTypesMan v1.56”.
