Hi,

I brought a USB Wireless Adapter Belkin F6D4050 V2 and i try to install it on my computer running Windows 7 x86 x64 but i can't!

- I try to install the controller in compatibility mode but don't work :S

- I install manually the drivers and recognizes the hardware ... but i can't connect to a wireless network, they give me an error (don't have network access).

Please, someone can help me:cry:

I don't know what can do more :S

Regards.

Hi Csoyen.

You say your PC is x86 (32bit) yet your profile info states you are running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.;)

Firstly make sure which of the two you are running and then go here: Belkin : Support : F6D4050 - N150 Enhanced Wireless USB Network Adapter - Driver

Download and install the F6D4050 Version 2000 Driver

This should work for your adapter.

Hope this helps.:)
.

Ups :S sorry ... My mistake ... really is Windows 7 x64 not x86 ,sorry.

I've tried this driver too and it's not work...

Hi,

Ive only signed up to let you know i have the same issue.

HOWEVER ive fixed it.

I used a different driver from Linksys.

Heres what i did,

Went to device manager.
Found the belkin under network with the ! icon.
Right clicked and hit update driver.

I then chose my own driver
I then browsed to Linksys.
And chose the "Linksys RangePlus Wireless USB Network Adapter "

And clicked ok.

It warned about that it may not work.

Now as soon as i closed the device manager it was flahing away and can now pick up and see wireless networks in my task manager.

Thanks

I just want to confirm this solution worked for me in Windows 7 Professional, x64.

I had the same problem. I wanted to use my Wireless USB adapter (Belkin F6D4050 v2) on an old machine I had recently updated to Win7 x64. Belkin's website was unhelpful : Belkin USA Site

If you are experiencing similar problems, try manually installing "Linksys RangePlus Wireless USB Network Adapter".

Belkin has outstanding 24/7 support, call and explain you challenges and they can walk you through the proper driver, sometimes meaning removal of other drivers and reinstall with usb adapter out till informed when to plug it back in !
