well i designed my next tattoo, will go get it in a few day but here it is for all to see

well let me explain, the picture is one i have loved for years, it's called Flowers in the Attic. the quote is the opening to A Knife Called Lust by Hollywood Undead and the font used is my personal favorite and called Pen of Truth. Now it's rarely known but i suffer from severe depression, while im fine and live a normal day to day life i'll occasionally become really withdrawn and slip away, not sure why, or what really triggers it but it happens and it's something i've learned to deal with. i do not have suicidal tendencies, or the desire to hurt others, i just randomly become depressed and wish i didn't exist. the entire design to me is symbolic not of the suicide but of letting go of regressed emotions so i've become really attached to it and wanted to have it represented on my body. i do have other tattoos, and they all hold a personal meaning but this is an aspect of myself that isn't often expressed and i wanted to add it to the collection.

Well that seems a little deeper than the usual butterflies or celtic armband although I guess I would have been more disturbed if you suggested purple butterflies surrounded by love hearts

I can't stand tattoos personally but that is just my preference so what ever makes you happy (or reminds you of not being happy).

It is certainly a unique design

I'm no stranger to that either and whilst that element will always be a part of me, I personally wouldn't want a permanent reminder, or invitation to be asked about it for the rest of my life.

But that's just my personal feelings and I respect the fact that you have chosen something that holds deep meaning for you.

Well all this week I have been pretty much out of action because the power supply blew to my laptop. I would have been ok to go if the Winter Storm hadn't moved in on Friday and caused UPS to delay to Monday. No biggie I guess as I am on a loaner but soon enough I will have my baby back. It is a little hard to have my internet activity cut back 80% though. At least I have been back in society this week!
