MSCONFIG, nothing running that shouldn't be, as i said only been up and running since Tuesday and i have not downloaded anything until i had sorted this out, im at a lost on what to do now but i thank you for your help and your time.

If I were you, I would disable everything under startup and start from scratch, in order to determine what is causing the minimization. Change Avast to MSE or AVG 9 and see if that helps. Disable Avast Firewall or remove fully.

Yes but still didn't work would reinstalling wow help ??

I don't think re-installing WOW will help, my issue with the minimization was caused by another application attempting to "tell" me something... This was the case with XP as well as 7. I do understand your frustration, believe me I do. Have you tried running wow "as administrator"? Simply right clicking the icon and choosing run as admin?

Hi mate, yes i have done that and put files into C/programme's but no help there, even changed to MSE but again no help, what if i done a clean reinstall of w7 and went on to 64 bit?
