cannot connect internet via belkin wireless usb

i recently bought a belkin n usb wireless adapter fd 5053 i got it to install using windows compatibility trouble shooter, but i cannot get on the internet with it. I can see the network but get the message unable to connect. The router i am trying to connect to is an airport express. Any help would be greatly appreciated

What network protocol are you using homegroup, or workgroup?

Are there any no win 7 machines on the network?

i can connect to the printer but not the internet network it is frustrating
