7077 - Techotrend 3200

Has anybody been able to get 7077 (x64) media center to detect their TT3200?

7000 worked great, but every build since then I have had problems and now it doesn't even detect the card

I can't say about TT3200 card but yes, this build 7077 has not detected my TV tuner card which was pretty working with build 7000 with vista driver.

I assume you've both checked to see if the tuner card is installed under device manager?

Have you tried the remove / reboot / install / reboot trick ? It worked with one of the previous builds when the card failed to detect in MC.

Yeah it's in device manager and it works fine with other software, just media center cant see it anymore

I had some problems with a USB TV tuner I just bought yesterday, it said it was Vista certified but it would not install the drivers that came with it, so I went to device manager and let it do an online search for any updated drivers and it found and installed one no problems, the strange thing is that it isn't for my tuner.

It found the Cinergy T xxs capture driver and my tuner is a Kaiser Baas KB201-1, I had a look on their site but I didn't see any drivers there but the one I got works fine anyway so I wasn't to worried.

Anyway I went into Windows 7 and thought it would find and install the same driver but it was unable to find a driver and the install disc wouldn't work either, so I ended up searching for the driver that was found on Vista manually and located it and installed it on Windows 7 and it works fine on that too now.

John, I have had no issues with WMC and my Hauppauge card, but I'll do a fresh install of 7077 in a couple of minutes and let you know how things go in about an hour or so.

I had to lose my pci tuner when I added the second VC for crossfire, so I'm on the hunt for a USB tuner.

I had to lose my pci tuner when I added the second VC for crossfire, so I'm on the hunt for a USB tuner.

It's pretty good once you find a driver that works, comes with Cyberlink Power Cinema which is OK and a full size remote which also works with Media Center on Vista and 7 it comes with a small antenna, but it's not the greatest so I am looking at getting a better one. Purchased from WOW for $69.95

if your still having trouble you could try this fix and see how you go at the very least it will let you use mediaportal for your tv .

its for 86 and 64 bit versions

your welcome hopefully will fix your problem
also if you haven't already tried it have a look in the driver data base in windows seven

my cards driver is an saa7162 which is actually mentioned in 3 different folders
phillips
nxp
nxp semiconductors

the only one that works is the nxp semiconductors.
while all actually install without errors
