ReBoot Time

Here's mine by only controlling startup programs, but not services with the computer in my system specs. Doesn't seem that bad I think.

Not bad, but your computer should be able to shave some off of that score, if you want ;)

My best time is 36 sec, average is in the mid forties depending on the Win7 mood :p

Try these:

How to Start or Disable Services in Windows 7

How to Change, Add, or Remove Startup Programs in Windows 7

And for reference:

How to Speed Up the Shut Down Time in Windows 7

I cant find any of those processes for Windows 7. How do i Disable them?

They aren't processes they are tasks. click start and type in Task Scheduler in the search bar.

Thats just the thing, the reason why i reinstalled is

1.My pc was taking forever to boot-up

2.My windows 7 files were getting mixed up with my games and programs and documents

so i reloaded, and made 2 partitions, so 1 partition is my Windows 7 files, and the other partition is my games and programs, so that way Windows 7 can access its files and drivers Directly.

quite alot, plus all windows update ect. i just followed a few tweaks here and there.
some bios tweak ect. turn off stuff i never use. lots of nfo on here and OCZ to get windows running they way you want it. but its a trial & error.

also not sure if my OC helps? and 12GB of DDR3 1600:p

also that 10/13 is not inc the bios start as that app don't count it. so add another 8 sec on there.

but now if i use IDE and some say it shaves more time off? lol 5 sec reboot? hah

I started on tweaking and gave up after a few hours, even turning off stuff I never use added seconds instead of making it faster lol
With the other reboot app I get between 45 & 50 sec so can't really complain with the apps & games I have installed, I lose alot of time before the bios kicks in, probably around 15 seconds, no idea why, I even get a screen message that it gets no data?!?
I'll post a new one when I used the OC button on my msi mobo, should be enough and keeps me from ruining my puter :D
