Hello forums:

Last night I shut my computer down just fine and woke up today to have to deal with this error.

I first had an issue with my RAM, but removing all but one, disconnecting PSU and working that method eventually got my computer back to shape.

Except for this brick wall:

I boot just fine, and as I am going to load, I get the error posdted in the title and with suggestions of using windows repair disc or move on and continue ignoring the error.

Before anything of course, I used the windows 7 disc to repair my errors, (I had an error or two) but, none of those seemed to be related to my current problem because after restarting i was later directed to that screen again.

So I reverted to using the only other solution, continuing while ignoring the error.
Thinking it would work, I was wrong. I get an option to choose the Operating system and it shows Vista (I use Win7) and even then, It re-loops me back to that error.

I have been working ever since the release of windows 7 just fine, this is just happening now.
Bare in mind I have searched other threads but none seem to really help my problem, I cannot even go into my desktop or beyond that screen. I am posting this from another computer.

Sorry for the Wall of text, I hope someone can really help me solve this problem

Much gratitude, Jona

That error is because it cannot verify the digital signature of the file. there are two wasy at least to repair it.
1- run a repair install
2-boot from win 7 dvd during boot hit shift f10 into cmd and run a system file check
(right click cmd and run as admin>sfc /scannow)

Let us know if you need help

Hello Ken, Thanks for your time.

I have tried the second method and when i scannow in cmd it scans for a few seconds then tells me that there is a repair pending and I must reboot the computer and run cmd again, however when I do as instructed, it only gives me the same response

I don't know if its relevant but, when I run cmd it's in X:/ (that is the same letter assigned to my secondary storage hard drive)

As for the repair install, do you mean to run the installation dvd and click Repair my computer? If so, it was of no help to this situation. Thank you for your patience
