Build 7077 Expiration

That's too fake for words :p

That one was so obvious it's totally pathetic. Some at least see the 3/1/2010 date on the 7077. It's not from any other calendar either but a hoax being pulled.

How do you get the latest build?
where can I download it?
btw:

We can't provide any links here. sorry! This is something you have to search around for yourself. And with the note of downloading something at your own risk unless someone verifies one's real.

For start dates that would be seen at the boot date once installed when using the SIW tool which should be showing the 6/1/2010 date on the genuine article. The beta period for the 7000 builds are now over while the actual expiration won't be seen until July 1st for the 64bit and the 8/1 date for the x86.

This would be one reason why two dates are being seen for the regular testers who want to keep running a certain build a little longer then needed. The activated Vista RC1 apparently lasted until June 2007 then showing the additional grace period to allow for upgrading to the then finally released version. I suspect the same is being seen with 7 as well.

OK for some ppl who thinks that 2553 year is fake. It's NOT.

Check the year on those pictures. It's thai (some other buddhism year is +/-1 year, I'm not sure) buddhism year which is 543 years more than christian year.

So you do 2553-543 and you get 2010. Nothing surprising. Windows just converts those years but it still expires in 2010. AND that pic isn't fake. I just took the pic from my PC, damn...

By the way I activated my key about 1 week ago.

the date 1st march 2010 is set on the basis of Redmond Hill local standard time. So, any one which has set his/her computers time to + 10 hours from the said redmond hill local stadard time zone then their expiry date will show as 2nd March 2010.

this is due to the different time zones available in the world. always two dates are available at a given time in the world.

so, eastern longitudinal countries will get the expiry date on 02/03/2010 (2nd March 2010) while western longitudinal countries will get expiry date on 1st march 2010 (01/03/2010)

If that's the case the I owe you an apology :o

Addition: I have just checked this (purely for my own interest) and it is 100% correct. Thai date 2550 is actually 2007 so 2553 would in fact be 2010.

The first thread seen was from December seeing the 6956 water mark on the first screen posted. Note the "For testing purposes only" right off as well as the build number. evidently something leaked out before the 7000 there. The second click on your link brings up another thread mentioning the 7077?

No problem! I was just wondering about that one probably due to a glitch while connecting to the server since that seemed simply as an older thread at the same site. For the most part however you will have to go by the MS local time there to keep updated. From that point then you can refer to the conversion into the Buddist calendar if needed.

The System Info for Windows tool will also show that as well as the expiration date seen when clicking the "operating system" item.

That's a bit more detailed over the command prompt option.

How so?

Easy enough! That digs a bit deeper into "everything" quite literally including which update and your cpu temps as well as what date and version of the OS is installed. So far i's been doing quite well on 7.
